Controls

  • Choose Easy, Medium, or Hard, select an empty cell, then enter a digit with the on-screen pad or keyboard.
  • Turn Notes on for candidate marks, and use Check to highlight conflicts while solving.

Goal

Place 1–9 so each number appears once in every row, column, and 3×3 box. Each generated puzzle has a unique solution.

First move

Scan for a row, column, or box with only a few empty cells and fill the most constrained position first.

Practical tip

Use Notes for uncertain cells instead of guessing, then remove candidates as each row, column, and box becomes more constrained.
