Privacy policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026.
QuestHub is a small, reviewed browser-game catalog. It does not currently provide user accounts, comments, ratings, payments, or user uploads. The production Portal may use the analytics, storage, and advertising technologies described below. This Privacy Policy page does not load QuestHub's AdSense, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, or first-party analytics scripts.
Google AdSense and advertising
QuestHub integrates Google AdSense on selected content pages of the production Portal. AdSense is not loaded on the separateplay.questhub.uk game Runtime. Whether an advertisement is actually served depends on QuestHub's AdSense site status, user consent where required, Google's settings, and ad availability.
Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, browser or device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve, secure, limit the frequency of, personalize where permitted, and measure advertisements. Third parties may place or read cookies in your browser, or use web beacons or IP addresses, as a result of advertising being served on QuestHub.
Depending on your region, consent choices, and Google settings, ads may be personalized or non-personalized, or Google may limit ad serving. You can learn more about how Google handles data in its advertising products, manage Google ad personalization in My Ad Center, and manage ads shown by Google on partner sites through Google's partner ads settings.
Consent in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
Where required, QuestHub must obtain consent for cookies or other local storage and for the collection, sharing, and use of personal data for ad personalization. QuestHub does not implement a home-grown advertising consent banner. When AdSense is activated for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, advertising consent is intended to be handled by a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework and configured through AdSense Privacy & messaging.
Analytics preferences are separate from advertising consent. QuestHub's Google Analytics integration always denies ad_storage,ad_user_data, and ad_personalization, and disables Google signals and advertising personalization. Choosing analytics does not grant advertising consent.
QuestHub Analytics
QuestHub runs a first-party analytics service fromanalytics.questhub.uk on production Portal pages where analytics is enabled. It is used to understand page usage, navigation, the game-discovery funnel, and site performance.
The tracker sends page location information, referrer, browser language, timezone, screen dimensions, and sampled performance measurements to the QuestHub analytics endpoint. It also stores a random visitor identifier in browser local storage so visits can be grouped without creating a QuestHub account.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics starts automatically only for visitors whose country Cloudflare identifies as the United States, unless they have declined or their browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. In all other countries, and when country detection is unavailable or times out, Google Analytics stays unloaded until you allow it. Country is checked for each page; the automatic regional default is not saved as your permission.
QuestHub uses Google Analytics on production Portal pages where analytics is enabled to measure page usage and a small set of game discovery and play events. Google Analytics can process browser and device information, page and interaction data, approximate location derived from network information, and consent-state signals. Google may receive an IP address as part of the network request; Google states that Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses.
Custom QuestHub search events send the query length, result count, and whether results were found; QuestHub does not send the search text itself as a custom event. When Analytics cookie storage is permitted, QuestHub configures Google Analytics cookies as host-only cookies forquesthub.uk, rather than parent-domain cookies, so they are not made available to the separate play.questhub.uk Runtime. Page location and referrer fields omit query strings and fragments. Interactions before analytics permission are not queued for later replay.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity is temporarily paused. QuestHub does not load its tracking script or send data to Clarity, including after a previously saved acceptance. The current hosted integration could create cookies shared with the separate game Runtime, so it cannot be enabled in Analytics preferences. Portal pages, including this policy page, remove the two known legacy Clarity cookies, _clck and_clsk, from the Portal host and the parent domain.
Cloudflare Web Analytics
Production pages served through Cloudflare may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare's hosting or zone configuration can inject a browser analytics beacon independently of QuestHub's page layout, so this setting is controlled outside this repository. Network requests to Cloudflare can include standard connection and browser information such as an IP address and user-agent data. QuestHub does not use Cloudflare Web Analytics for ad personalization.
Browser local storage
After a game reports a real first gameplay input, the Portal stores the game ID and time in browser local storage. This Recently Played history stays on your device, is used to render the Recently Played section, and can be removed by clearing site data in your browser. QuestHub Analytics also uses local storage for the random visitor identifier described above. Your Google Analytics choice is saved as questhub.analytics.ga4, containing only allowed or denied. The legacyquesthub.analytics.clarity entry is retained for existing preferences but cannot enable the paused integration.
Game Runtime storage and analytics boundary
Game code runs on the separate Runtime origin atplay.questhub.uk. Some reviewed games use local storage for non-sensitive game state. Games on that Runtime share one origin in the current architecture, so QuestHub does not treat their save keys as a confidentiality boundary.
Portal AdSense, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and QuestHub Analytics code are not injected into the game Runtime or passed through iframe URLs or Bridge messages. QuestHub custom analytics events do not send Runtime launch/session identifiers, iframe URLs or query strings, or the contents of Portal or Runtime local storage. Cloudflare Web Analytics may still be applied at the hosting layer as described above.
Your choices
Use Analytics preferences in the footer to allow or decline Google Analytics, including on this policy page. Withdrawing permission disables its collection and removes QuestHub's host-only Google Analytics cookies. It cannot recall information already sent. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals override both saved acceptance and the US default. Clearing site data resets saved choices. The policy page can save your choice without loading these analytics providers.
You can clear cookies and local storage using your browser controls. Where a consent message is required, use the choices presented there to manage advertising consent. Google advertising personalization can also be managed through the Google controls linked above. Blocking or clearing storage may reset local QuestHub history or third-party preferences.
