What is the Lagos lifestyle game?
People searching for the “Lagos lifestyle game” are generally looking for Lagos Life, a browser-based life simulation inspired by Lagos, Nigeria. Rather than focusing on a single match or level, it gives you a character, everyday activities, places to visit and other people to meet in a fictional world.
The setting is part of the appeal: familiar Nigerian places, foods and household objects appear alongside more conventional life-simulation systems. This is an independent introduction based on our October 2026 gameplay screenshots and the game’s published terms. QuestHub is not the developer or an affiliated game portal.
What do you do in Lagos Life?
Our test character began in a small room with a bed, a cooking area and basic furniture. The main interface offered Home, Buy, Map and Phone navigation. That made the first few minutes less about winning a round and more about learning where to find your character’s daily activities.
A useful starting routine is to check how your character feels, look at a goal, interact with the home and then use the map to find somewhere to go. Housing, furniture, cooking, skills and social interactions all appear in the interface we tested. Which options are available may depend on your character and the current game version.

Manage your character’s needs
The Needs panel in our test showed six everyday measures: Hunger, Energy, Fun, Social, Hygiene and Bladder. Each had its own visible bar. The panel also included Feelings, which offered more context about the character’s current state.
Checking this screen before choosing another action helps you decide what to do next. For example, preparing food is a natural activity to investigate when looking at Hunger, while a social venue may be relevant when exploring the Social side of the game. We did not verify exact rates of change or any numerical formula behind these measures.

Goals, dreams and progression
During our test with a new character, the Goals screen displayed a short-term item called “Today’s Hustle” and a longer-term dream called “Lekki Landlord”. One visible long-term target was to build a game-world net worth of ₦1,000,000.
The same panel suggested smaller wishes such as seeing art at Freedom Park, buying something for the house and having three conversations. They make useful examples of how the game connects exploration, furnishing and social activity. These were the goals presented to our particular character; other players may see different goals.

Build character skills
Lagos Life also presents a Skills panel. Our screenshot showed Cooking, Charisma, Fitness, Coding, Music, Hustle, Dance, Comedy and Photography. Some categories already had progress while others were still at their starting level.
The important beginner lesson is that activities may interact with different areas of character development. Inspect a skill before assuming an action is available: the interface can show levels and progress, but the screenshot alone cannot prove how quickly a skill improves or what every new level unlocks.

Cooking and everyday activities
One particularly distinctive interaction was the Kerosene Stove menu. During our test it included Cook Jollof, Indomie & Egg, Fry Dodo, Egusi Soup & Eba, and Efo Riro & Semo. These recognizable dishes make the cooking interface feel connected to its Nigerian setting.
Some recipes displayed requirements, including cooking skills. The safest way to learn the system is to open an item and read the currently displayed requirement rather than assume every dish is available immediately. Our screenshot establishes which dishes appeared in this menu, not the full recipe catalogue or hidden gameplay rules.

Shop and decorate your home
Buy Mode opened a furniture catalogue in our session. We could see objects such as a Plastic Chair, Standing Fan, Dining Table, Lounge Armchair, Velvet Sofa and Bean Bag. The catalogue displayed prices in the game’s currency, allowing players to compare items before choosing how to furnish their space.
For a new player, it is worth distinguishing the furniture catalogue from the character’s needs and goal panels: furnishing changes the home environment, while the other screens help you decide what to work toward. We have not verified the effect of each item on a character’s statistics.

Explore Lagos and meet other players
Lagos Life is not limited to your starter room. At Mama Bisi’s Salon in Surulere, our session showed several other player characters sharing the space. The venue also offered location-specific interaction areas including a styling chair, nail bar, wash basin and waiting lounge.
That makes a location worth visiting for two different reasons: you can see what activities exist there, and you may encounter other people. Because the official terms describe social features, remember that public chat or profiles can involve real users. Do not share private information in an in-game conversation. A salon screenshot does not prove that every venue has the same interactions.

Getting around: the Lagos Life map
The city map shown at the start of this guide gives a wider view of the world, with buildings, roads, water and location markers. Our captured interface also displayed labels relating to Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt. Those labels alone do not establish which areas are currently playable or how much content each area contains.
When you want to leave home, try the Map navigation, inspect the destinations it offers and select an available location. The game is evolving, so the actual map and travel options on the official site may differ from our October 2026 capture.
